Jo made her first films on Braunton Burrows and Lundy Island for an ITV series Secrets of the Coast working as a researcher. She’s gone on to develop, direct or produce TV documentaries and series from around the world and has written over 80 broadcast documentaries, many award winning. 

Over the last few years (grabbing any excuse to get out on the North Devon coast) Jo has written several articles for Devon Life and the North Devon Journal about people who work with boats and opportunities for ordinary people like herself to get out on the water. The people she’s been privileged to meet and their fascinating tales are the inspiration behind Boat Stories.
